I thought maybe the computer was looking for a specific load that wasn't there??? Somehow reversing the power leads from the old bulb resets it???

I've only put about 400 miles on the bike with the bags mounted but I couldn't tell that there was any problem at all. The radius of the pipes don't get that close and the air flows in between them....
