feel your pain!

I feel your pain jbeem. I have thrown a lot of time and cash into a 81 R80 G/S and by all accounts our fellow inmates just say "bite the bullet and fix it" so I have on order transmission bearings....

Well you need a fixture to hold the trany firmly. Otherwise it would be a real pain in the ass and you risk dropping it too. Digital depth gauge, and digital caliper are a must, heat gun, torque...

Try Kisan Mfg. They have several kinds of turn signal relays. Needed one for the LED conversion on my 81 R80 GS. Programmable if need be.

1/2 a G/S-trany is out

Trany is out and on the bench. Built a fixture to be able to remove the flange,flange nut and then flip the fixture to work on the shafts and bearings. Will try to post pics as I am taking pictures...
