I've got 15/45, which the same length chain as 14/48. I just completed a 2750 mile atlantic loop that was 50/50 dirt and it was a perfect ratio. :D

Overflow tube leak

My 1100GS was leaking from the overflow tube after I changed the fuel filter. It turned out the tube had a hairline crack at the filter housing allowing the submerged fuel to seep into the tube.

Rocker arm clearance

I've got a 95 R1100GS that developed rev ticking when the oil warmed up. The dealer was clueless. It turned out to be excessive side play in a rocker arm. Tightened it up...no more noise.
