Bump! I tried it too and it works perfectly!!

I had a new set of Kenda's to put on my Strom and decided to try the ziptie method and it works great! I used spoons before and scraatched my rims and took about 20 minutes each tire to get them...

Great ride report, and great ride on the 250! I did the Dragon this spring on my Vstrom 650 loaded with camping gear, etc. That 250 would have been a lot of fun! Keep riding!

Thanks for all the tips so far. I do plan to use my sheepskin seat cover and have a camelbak. Planning to drink lots of water so I have to stop more often for pee breaks and to stretch.
