I pulled my exhaust apart today and reassembled with exhaust cement. Pouring with rain today so didn't get chance to see if sealing up the air-leaks makes any difference to the backfire situation....

By the way I've updated the L/H cam chain tensioner, checked the rocker arm end play and adjusted the valves. None of this makes any difference to this noise... still knocking
