The forward slope is a real issue. We got a Corbin for my wife's bike and it's night and day. There's no reason you can't tour on that bike after fixing the ergos.

Pull in the clutch lever then roll the bike back and forth a bit. I had this problem a while back and it was either an interrupt sensor or clutch cable too slack. It went away before I problem solved...

Scrambler and T100 differ in Engine Timing, Exhaust placement, and rake on the forks. The Scrambler's engine is tuned a bit differently too. SE is a pretty different bike, comparatively.
