Aware of the Southland not being as spectacular and rugged/ diverse as the Alpine areas/ Sounds etc., but there surely musty be some ADV or half-decent gravel routes around :huh:huh

I thought I'd read something about a road that was opened by DoC only last year or so along the Alma River (maybe?) and across to Lake Sedgemere...a sort-of northern connector between the Molesworth...
