Thanks for the info about the IRC's, I put on Shinko 244's 2.5 front and 3.0 rear. The rear rubs the fender so I will have to do some reshaping there.

I had the PR3's on an F800ST and got 15000km from the rears and about 23000km from the fronts. They wore well for me with no "squaring" and that was two up touring. I now have the K76's on a Tiger...

I have found the Karoos plenty noisy on the paved roads (yes even with ear plugs). A good reason to ride them 80% dirt, 20% pavement. Knobs will last longer that way too.

I did not have to remove the "braided" material (exhaust gasket) to fit the LV mid pipe. Merc & Kildare, yours wouldn't fit at all?
