I've got an 03 Gixxer 1000 with Apex clip-ons. Couldn't be happier with them. Although the amount of rise is fairly limited with the stock cables.

Why the heck would you want an early EFI bike? I've owned two, a 97 Suzuki TL1000-S and 00 Triumph TT600. Never again. I strongly recommend either a 2nd or 3rd gen EFI bike or stay with carbs.
