GS Shock?

I have an 1150 rear shock The BMW tag reads like this:

7 650 051
SHOWA B0272

The distance from mounting bolt to mounting bolt is 14 1/2 inches.

Any idea if this shock fits a GS or GSA.

I have a set of shocks I bought for my first 1100GS. The rear doesn't have the hose or controller on it. the front isn't pretty either. You can have both of them for the cost of shipping. Jon

Are these GSA shocks? Showa B0353 7 660 284 and Showa B0352 7 660 996

Have you opened the gas cap to check for a vapor lock? Looked inside the tank to see if anything is in the gas?

Read your policy regarding what they said they would pay. Then when you talk to the insurance adjuster use the phrase "take it to litigation". That's generally good for $1500 on top of their offer....

Replace your final drive with one from an 1100GS. You can lower your rpm. Gas mileage doesn't change. Acceleration is better. You can ride the bike at 55 in 6th without it stumbling. Jon
