Haven't tried taking the dog or the grandkid. The main reason I put on the sidecar was to not tip over when riding in the wintertime. Fresh snow is a blast!

Fortunately, we have none. All they spread on the roads here seems to be sand and gravel. Broken glass is more a problem than rust at least here in interior Alaska.

Thank you, the bands are readily available and pretty cheap. I replaced 4 of the 6 last winter as the local Enfield dealer says that 6 is too many. Maybe for loads heavier than a single passenger....
