From what I can tell the Real Equipments pegs are made for the TTR225 only. So you'd have to do the swap to get them on an XT.

Actually found out it is because of the combined turn signal indicator on the dash. I have to wire in a couple grounds and swap in two smaller lights. Apparently the lower power usage by the LEDS...

Figured it out. Apparently all Yamaha bikes, ATVs and snowmachine under 600cc from that era used the same basic part. Now Yamaha just sells one and we have to cut the wire to fit.
