I also agree with Junyah...the WRR is a better...

I also agree with Junyah...the WRR is a better bike for racking up miles on the road, still capable in the woods, better at being a 50/50 bike.

Had to run out for parts yesterday, and seeing as I had just swapped the cooling fan out on the TE and wanted to make sure the fuse didn't pop anymore, I threw on my jacket and helmet and knee pads...

To the OP and his question, I would say try different bikes out. You've already said the KLX sees very little use now because the KLR is getting it done for you most of the time, so mix it up a bit...
