I just drill a little hole on each side of the spark plug wire near the end and secure the cover with a small zip tie. Does not impede removing the cover or spark plug. Never gets lost.

My 1150 has 120k on it, bought new in 2000. Commute to work every day.

I think the throttle bodies are getting sloppy. The idle air screws are both closed. Still balanced...
