I ride only off road and run 37 psi in front and 42 psi in rear...TKC80s...bike about 564 lbs, gear weight on trips 80 lbs or less and my weight 170 lbs..

So if when we 3/9 or 12/6 hand check a wheel/FD for movement, if we feel any movement it is more than .5mm to 1.0mm...unless of course we have just calibrated our hands to able to accurately measure...

Another issue that some have, not necessarily you, was that unknowingly their right toe would slightly depress the rear brake lever....many have reported inordinate rear pad wear due to the close...

Depends On Gear and Load

1-2 gear 2,000 rpm, controlled, smooth increase in throttle no problema...add a hill, hot motor or heavy load and it could rattle....I agree motor is happier above 2,500 rpm and comes alive above...

Might Add...

Use a good grease on the splines before you put the drive shaft onto the trans shaft. I use a moly based one and put lots on...this may have been mentioned.
