Got the same thing on my R with a set of Mitas...

Got the same thing on my R with a set of Mitas E07s. Slow weave at around 180 Kph hard on the throttle. I'm told this is not unusual on many different tire types and you can accelerate through it...

Mind you I did have a weird rattle / scrape sound...

As far as I know the difference is the amount of traction control and the throttle response, not the power. Both are 150 HP.

At the risk of flogging a dead horse, I think its abundantly clear that the problem is largely the OEM FILTER ITSELF and not so much the box, though the box did need improving from the 2013 design...

The 90/90 21" E07 and E09 are not tubeless. Fairly simple to run a tube in the front of the stock R 21" rims though.

I did hear somewhere a tubeless 21" E07 was coming out this year.

I got 4.8 l / 100 once sitting in 6th lugging down the freeway for 70 odd kms. I normally get 5.8 - 6.1 for mixed riding. Around 6.5 if Im giving it the berries.

I would be pushing for a new engine if the bike is not all that old.

I had mine replaced at 4700kms and 1 month old. No way would I accept a rebuild on a new bike.
