As it did not do it when the bike wasn't moving - you might also want to check and see if the brakes are dragging. Maybe one of the pads got tilted when you were changing tires or.....

Slotted screw adjustment?

If you are talking about slotted screw (slow speed?) adjustment - it is not uncommon for the screw to seize up. Try lubricating the screw and slowly work it back and forth.

That bike also has the 70 degree gas tank - which takes care of the one issue I had with the FE series - no range.

Just put in the spark arrestor insert - and it is much quieter with less back firing/bark on throttle closure.
Pretty amazing consider it is the same length, just .2 inch smaller ID (1.100 vs 1.300).

That is why I picked up a 500EXC for the more technical terrain.

A GS stays more upright due...

I have one of these units and it is plug and play with the stock harness. It has both low and high beam. I have not had a chance to use it at night - but way more usable light than the stock unit...
