I've got the 1.7 gallon size, and I've gotten >300 miles twice in past two years, by keeping speed steady and <60 mph, almost all pavement. That's >70 mpg. Brittania Lynx fairing maybe helps a little.

Mine does this too, but with 9,000 miles on the odometer I can't imagine mine is at all caused by the clutch cover problem. Also mechanically it doesn't make sense to me how the two could be related....
