How many miles is it? I've never used mapquest and never heard of tourstart but I'm on my 3rd Garmin. Maybe you should just make a waypoint of your destination and let your GPS calc it for you....

I always use a tinted shield. Actually it's called Blue Metal on a Nolan N103. The helmet also has the drop down sun shade that I use once in awhile. Don't ride at night anymore :1drink

I would also go with the Aerostitch Darien or AD1 over pants. Just put them on over whatever you are wearing and ride. Waterproof and you can add hip pads too! Best $300 clams you will ever spend.....
