Yes, from what I could tell they were doing it while filtering in heavy traffic on the highway. Didn't see it on city streets.

You do not have to take the upper crash bars off to take off the tank. Just unscrew the front two bolts and move the bars out a little. I like mine. Can't hang with the look of the rumbux either.
