I think the steering damper will give you additional confidence in the sand, rocks, and even on heavily grooved freeway surfaces. It CAN make a difference if you let it.

I don't know if he uses "TuneECU" or not, but John at JETT Tuning is VERY handy with the dyno. He has done all of my bikes from my WR250 up to the Hawg.
