I use the Double Takes daily, but if I'm riding off pavement with high probability of tipover, I remove the Double Takes and pop out the HDB...

Contrary to what I earlier thought, I don't think the 690 RFR upper shock mount can be flipped to change rear ride height. I now believe it can go on one way and one way only as shown in the picture....

I wonder if the rear tank from the Defy kit would fit on a 690 RFR. At 4.6 gallons (18l), the RFR tank is big, heavy and precludes most types of luggage, not to mention very expensive to replace.
