SW Mototech Evo quick lock tank bag nylon pull string

I just received my SW Mototech City tank bag & new EVO connection ring. Its the new style (black one)

It looks kinda shanty cause of the small size thread it uses as a pull thread to disengage...

ilium works barracks & tank bags on a GSA

I was wondering if ilium barbacks interfere with a tank bag on a 2012 GSA. I like the Twisted Throttle GS tank bag.

Will the barbacks cause issues? I have seen some actually bring the handlebar...
