It IS boiling. I can see it in the overflow bubbling. Yeah it's worrying me too. Fan does turn on when hot and the overflow tank is full but at one point it was low, so I refilled but never empty...

Well they are only $50 more than the wolfman rocky mountain bags but these come with an easy on-off mechanism and they are waterproof. Both which to me are really a plus.
