We'll see how...

So what exactly are the symptoms or signs of CCT problems. The OP mentioned hearing a noise on startup that would go away once oil pressure came up to normal. Anything else?

I just picked up a leftover '13 yesterday. By far the best bike I've ridden or owned. Smooth, torquey, a total mile-eater, yet is still pretty nimble and wears her weight well. A good deal, and...

Why should I buy a KLR 650?

I've got both a KLR 650 and a VStrom 650, although I did put a sidecar on my Wee. Oh and I've got a fair amount of seat time on a Tiger 800XC.

I'd go V-Strom or KLR. I've got both. The V-Strom has me leaning forward a tiny bit (I'm 6 ft and 230 lbs) whereas the KLR allows me to be completely upright. The V-Strom is definitely a 90-10...
