Split the single output into 2. Run headlight and brakelight w/ one of the leads (regulator in between). Hook the other lead to a rectifier and then your battery system with blinkers/doohickeys/etc....

I think at may have happened by him downshifting too hard around a corner on the trail. Left side of the driveshaft has primary sprocket and right side where it sheared off is the kick start gear....

Well ya.. thats where the welding came in. Its not a 'imperative' reinforcement area or oil sealing surface. Lined back up and done by a GM journeyman welder. I mean you can't buy a new engine case...

Brother's '90 bike stalled on the trail and kickstart was froze up. Would not bump start so had to tow it back (Always carry a rope right :evil)....
