Had the givi on my smt since november, no rubber round the edge, and no turbulence problem up to 180km/h (I'm 6'3).
It doesn't turn the smt into a RT but makes it slightly better in the cold....

But you are right for the S1, 1789g, that's a big improvement with the S2 !

The difference between TCS1 and 2 is very noticeable though.
