Most Uly I've seen have the preload dialed down to lower its tall stature. Also set the compression higher to avoid bottoming out.

I don't like the loose stuff with my Uly either. Anytime the road surface loosens, I'd wish I had a lighter bike. It would also help if I didn't load everything in the tank/saddle/tail bags.

Nice setup. Where did you get the aluminum boxes? For a RTW bike, wouldn't a X model be better suited for the ride? I find the XT suspension a bit too stiff, especially on rough roads.
