Have you checked your wiring under the tank, should be a voltage regulator under there. It could just have a bad ground or loose connections. :D

Keeping the stock stator pretty much leaves you with one option, the 55w glass lens OEM light. Its an improvement but you'll still want/need a more powerful light when all is said and done.

There is also a piece Honda calls a "Jet Holder", it doesn't hold the jet so I'm not sure...
