Best part of this bike is the family history!

Pretty great history to go with a neat bike.

What part of Canada? I'll be in Quechee, VT in May with a toyhauler.....

Funny the things you see in others photos

Pretty sure that's Voni and Paul Glaves with the BMW's at the gas pump. Active members of the BMW community and long distance types. Recognize her gear and red R1100RS from when I used to get the MOA...

Coming up for auction in VA next weekend. Anyone know? Look at the second row of photos, from the top, two photo's on far right side. Googling images has not helped me ...yet.

Fortunately nobody messes with the North Fork of the Buffalo. I'll be heading your way next weekend - fishing at Buffalo Creek in Lexington should be good!

Is that a shock sock on your fork?

Seems like a better alternative than the more tightly fitting neoprene alternatives - less change of dirt abrasion.

"A wilderness area is more strictly protected and may only be used for hunting, fishing, hiking or horseback riding."

A few years ago I was in a meeting with 4 National Forest employees (who...

my wife guilted me a little given I got new heated gear for Christmas.

You need to stay off craigslist...

If depending on dealer for maintenance

you should figure out required service and intervals and get some quotes for those standard recurring services. May help with the decision.

General thoughts

after 40 years of riding, 25 spent on BMW's with a Vstrom (50K miles) and FJR (4K miles, getting into too much trouble on my commute) thrown in more recent years.

S10 is a great all around bike...

It's all give and take
