also try "Black Chrome" if you can find it, worked great on my Jeep black fenders-it will take 2-3 applications a couple days apart then once a month

Carb sync or balance might eliminate it.
2 & 3 run a bit hotter (on an air cooked Nighthawk anyway) and are set up to get more gas, maybe a tad too much.

The CTX was more responsive through the gears in my opinion.
It's almost 500 lbs. but felt a lot lighter to me. Stopped well and shifted real nice. The forward pegs were different...
