Put some of those cheap CNC anodized ebay levers on my 98 VFR and had zero issues. Such a simple job to swap out I can not think of any tips to give.

Yes I am happy with it. It is wide though, just a touch wider than the mirrors. The factory bags and hardware on the 6th gen bikes hugs the bike much tighter and disappears better than the Givi stuff...
