Replace the O-ring, loctite the bolts and don't over-torque when putting them back on. Keeping the bike on the center stand will keep oil off your garage floor until you can fix 'er up. :thumb

+1 on checking the gear position sensor

The O-ring went bad on mine not long ago, but only leaked when on the side stand. Replacing it seemed to do the trick.
