That's what I immediately suspect. But the throttle tube feels fine for the entire time and I can see that the throttle plates are completely closed. If it was a stuck cable, it shouldn't go away...

Yeap. Spark plug was the problem, replaced with some NGK DCPR8EIX. The bike runs perfectly fine now, smooth pull even at 6th gear. Guess the old coils were probably fine too... Oh well.

Is it ok to test out the coils by just unplugging their connection at the top? Some people seems swear that it damages the bike without grounding them, and they tests them by taking the whole coil...

Roger, actually the techlusion unit on the R1200 still uses the O2 sensors for all the close loop running. Not entirely convinced that it is the TPS, since the bike starts with no problem since day...
