With my light tester I am getting current to the back lead off the new 6v coil when I crank the engine.

Also, the piston was seized in bore....

I think the 650 had shaft drive, hydraulic valves, hydraulic clutch... Pretty low maintenance. Watch for knuckleheads who ran the piss out of them in the redline...you'll hear a cam chain rattle...
