No, the ECO comes up when you are riding fuel efficiently (economically). The cure is to twist the throttle back some more :D

The pre-2014 bikes really need an ECU re-flash to get the best out of the engine whereas the 2014+ have changes that make a re-flash unnecessary but I'm told still has a positive impact.

That's a decent price...when I was looking, I found a number of non-ES 2014 bikes for just a bit more than that. The 2014+ is definitely worth a little more due to the refinements Yamaha made to it...

For an ES, that's about as good as you're going to get given the limited supply and current incentives. Non-ES versions can definitely be found cheaper...when I was looking I saw some in the $10k...
