Great. The boxers with the overhead cams rarely need an actual valve adjustment. My 2011 camhead stays in the middle of the range as well.

I always go with the manufacturer's recommendations. It doesn't hurt to take it easy on the bike the first few hundred miles. Just vary the speed a lot and don't lug or over-rev the engine.
