My road gear gets pretty dirty over the miles. Nikewax does not clean them as well as I need. I start with Simple Green w/ water 50-50 and spray it on and use a soft brush to address the dirty areas....

I require a modular helmet and thus wear a Schuberth C3 - happy with it and my long, oval head is fairly happy. I did relieve the forehead area a bit as well as add a different liner.

You really have one good choice! Properly layer your armor with the correct base layer and you will not be sweating; it also works incredibly well when it is cool.

Not cheap but you will not buy...

For years I have used LDComfort as my base layer - can be made cool in the summer and is warm in the winter due to the fabric. Very easily hand-washed and will be dry in the AM when you want to suit...
