Engine Knocking Noise @ 5200rpm

I'm on my 2nd F800GS (2009 & 2011) and am noticing something different in the sound of the engine between the two. My 2011 has a distinct engine knock right at 5200RPM. At lower or higher rpm's I...

Can Bus Delay

The can bus plug at the air box has a 30 second delay before it shuts off. Not sure if yours is staying on longer than that.

Thanks

I will most likely ask Klaus from Wilbers US to do it. I will get his input on using the standard HP Springs. The short HP's caused allot of nose diving when breaking.

Thanks for the feedback

As I had mentioned I had the HP lower springs on my last F800GS and feel performance was compromised. I guess I'll go back down that road again. Thanks for the input.

SW-motech crash bars

I have a set of SW-motech crash bars that just came off my old F800GS bike that I don't need as my new F8 already has them installed when purchased. PM me if you are interested in them.

Keep the bike... change the seat!!

Why not try a different seat. The stock 800 seat sucks!! I put on a Corbin seat and It made a world on difference. Has a very nice passinger arrangement too.
