Yes there was a seam down the top. Some models had a little chrome strip that went over it. And that seam also leaks on my 70 T100! So much for style.

The Robb Report article had very little actual information on the bike. No indication of who built the bike or what modifications were made. It kind of indicated that it was the factory scrambler....

I have been looking at the MI3 bike in the Robb Report all summer thinking why not just buy a used bonneville black and make my own scrambler. Like the above opinions I think the pipes look better...
