Great Ride

Looks like quite the adventure. Amazing pictures in the forest. I worry about squirrels and you have to worry about elephants.

Go at your own pace

I find it depends on the roads and your bike. I have a done some 4000km rides and for me 600km a day is comfortable. I have done 700km+ but find that is getting a bit long. At that point I am just...

Great Ride

Couple out on the road on motorcycles. That's all that matters. Where you go is beside the point. That said I do love Nashville.

My Twin

Have the exact same Ninja with lower fairing off. Took a little slide last year. Putting back on I worry about the oil filter exposed up front like it is. One rock and you're walking home.

Don't have a 2 stroke but I will probably be right there in the middle of a ride back to Windsor from my brothers in Georgia on that day. Would love to see the bikes.

Wonderful Trip

Just finished reading your whole blog about your adventure. (Had a few hours free time) Sounded amazing. I am sure I'll be one of those old retired travellers you wrote of one day.

I heard the "you need a big bike to go anywhere" deal when I was looking at a bike. Seems to be an American attitude. My opinion is the best motorcycle to tour on is, the one you have.
