I can still pick them both up. I picked that KTM up after my 3rd tip over and on a steep sidehill AFTER I had broke the leg. Took some grunting but I did it. :lol3

I guess the rider took the lesser of 2 evils. Maybe he ought to slow down but to each thier own. Glad the people in the car didn't have to live with what the other result could have been.

Nope, commuting and that milege is on the long end but it's consistant.

20-22 psi offroad and 25-35psi on pavement depending on the load I'm carrying. Consistantly 7-9k out of them. My go to tire. Not a bad all around tire for the average guy. :lol3

Oxidized plastics.

I took a scotch brite pad, scuff off the oxidation and then went down to the local hardware store and got some Plasti-cote paint that matched the blue on my 1990 KLR and repainted it. Worked great....

...but then I'm used to riding a KLR :lol3. Weight? nobody says you have to fill it all of the way up if it's not needed and I like the better protection provided for the radiators vs. the stock...

That is the Mattole Rd.

Pick it up out of Ferndale if you're heading south on Hwy 101. Fun road but a little rough if you're on a cruiser. Old pavement that's been patched many times over. Good ride. :clap
