Itchy Legs from Offroad Socks/Boots?
Okay, I know this is odd. But, I'm going to ask anyway.
This past Saturday I rode the SheetIron 300 wearing (among other things) a pair of Fox motocross socks and a pair of Tech4S offroad boots...

Thanks for all the replies. I sure wish I could spend $700 for a pair of mini-binoculars and go with the famous Leicas, but the budget just doesn't allow it and I can't find a way to write them off...

What's the best pair of compact binoculars?
I'm thinking it would be nice to have a pair of compact binoculars for moto trips. Anyone have a pair they adore (or hate)? By "compact" I mean roughly the size of the palm of an average guy's hand,...

LB your ride reports never disappoint.
In fact, they just keep getting better.
Thanks for taking us all on the adventure with you--makes the time in between moto trips that much more bearable...

Watching the movies (yes, all three of them) was super meditative.
Loved the music choices, too.

I wave when i can without losing focus or jeopardizing my ride, but I don't expect one in return. If I don't get a wave back, I just assume that it would have been dangerous for that rider to let go...

Hiya,
I'm a small woman who rides an older F650, so I imagine I have had some of the same issues you have with the big GS (it's all relative). I can relate to the big bike feeling out of control...

We left our stuff unattended in campsite #60 with no worries. Some of the sites are closer to the bathrooms, some are farther away--ours was one of the farther away ones, and no one ever bothered us....

We're in
I'm in, so is Trasko. I'll be riding it on my '97 F650, and he'll be on his KLR. The big bikes will probably make it feel like we're in quicksand the whole time, but hey--quicksand could be...
