I run the Shinko 705's, but I'm 90% on road with commuting. I've had them in the dirt and they do fine with all but the loosest dirt/sandy type roads.

I've got about 9200 on my rear 705 on my WRr. Hopefully I can get to 10,000, shouldn't be a problem. Front still looks almost new. 80 mi round trip commute 4 days a week.

They make for interesting riding for sure, and they glare at you when you pass them. Sorry if I don't feel like riding 15 - 20 mph under the limit for 20 mi at a time.
