I just ordered mine. The shorter back was one of the main reasons I'm getting it. The long backs re really annoying when you end up sitting on them and it pulls the jacket back choking you.

Ha! The rules that require a specific tire in a specific size would be the reason for that. Before the spec tires Honda was using a 16 front with a 16.5 rear I believe. Every set up is a compromise.
