You need to learn to do the tps reset yourself. Borrow a laptop, buy a cord and download ecmspy. If you can't get into doing work to your Buell, you are likely not going to get along with this bike....

heat discoloration on stainless is easily removed with a scotchbrite pad or by sanding lightly. I would use an angle grinder and a 1/16" wheel, then sand the edge with a polyfans 80 grit.
