Get a blank from the dealer and clamp it carefully against the straightened key and file it to match. Then you have a spare. I do it all the time.

Guides need to be honed or reamed after installation to have a proper fit.
The shrink or press fit will reduce the guide to valve stem clearance of a
"pre sized" guide and it needs to be corrected.

I would pull the final drive and check the torque on the pinion nut then change the seal.
The pinion nut can loosen and cause an oil leak, then destroy the ring and pinion.

Why not build up the worn area with tig at a low temp and carefully dress it
down to fit. If softer than the surrounding metal, locally case harden it. ---Just a thought.
