Revive a thread...

Anyone have a good way to power an iPhone 5 when mounted in a Ram Aqua Box? I don't really care about it being submersible, just trying to keep the rain off. :ear

Time to stop lurking?

I've been a lurker on this thread for over a year now, guess it's time to jump in. I've done RTE's to Augusta Ga, Reelfoot Tn, & Helen Ga, but never thought of one 12 miles from home. :D

I'm in...

I'd love to buy her a bike of her own,

But the one time I tried to teach her to ride she accidentally popped the clutch, wheelied into a pair of sawhorses holding up a sheet of plywood, and had 3rd degree burns before I could get the bike...

Avoiding 2-up, will this work?

My riding buddy's wife and my wife are always complaining about missing out on the places we go and see on the bikes, wanting to go with us. We, on the other hand, can't think of anything less fun...

I'd be more inclined to cut the days shorter if one of my buddies wasn't a on a Harley Ultra; no way I'm going to cry "uncle" when he's still ready to go...of course he was ready to trade his beanie...

Too much of a good thing?

Is it possible to ride too many good roads in one day, and not enjoy the curves as much as we should? Started west of Nashville, took the Hwy 30 route east across TN to Tellico, across the...

Saw my new hero today

Don't know who he was, but an inmate buzzed through Nashville today on a loaded GSA, the thermometer in my cage said it was 7 degrees F at the time. He split off east on I-24, I saluted him and went...

Practice how?

So what is the correct way to practice e-stops? I ride a 2003 RT with fully linked ABS; I practice stopping as quickly as I can sometimes, but would like something more structured.

The one time...

LaZer Monaco or Nolan 104?

I'm needing to upgrade my Nolan 102, and am down to these 2; any thoughts? Either a better fit with my Sena SMH10?

Has anyone tried the Sena SMH 10 with the Monaco?

Need to upgrade from my Nolan 102; I don't want to switch types of Bluetooth, but this helmet sure looks like a great option.

Compatible with the Sena SMH10?

I thought the slider for the internal shield would prevent mounting a Sena, had about decided to go with a LaZer until I saw this thread. Love my 102, would prefer to stay with a Nolan.

I love my '03 RT as well, had the same 3k RPM skitter

Till a Harley mechanic told me to quit riding it like a cruiser; drop it a gear and keep the rev's up...worked like a charm, no more surging. On anything other than the slab I try to ride one gear...

OP so have you been yet?

Two of us are considering the same area for a week in September, how did your trip go, if you've gone yet?

Anybody suggest a town to anchor in for a few days?
Thanks

Riders, where did you choose to ride today?

Am I finally turning into a Rider (as Dakez would say) instead of a Biker? I needed to run to Memphis and back, and chose to take the RT instead of the company cage. Endured 150 miles of slab early...

Hartley!

Two different Hardley riders yesterday morning to me: "You rode this weekend? Too windy for me!" 45 mph gusts aren't so bad if you're paying attention and ride a few thousand miles per year.

I resemble that remark!

That's exactly why I ride, to escape to that place, and enjoy that end of day feeling on a long ride. And to realize the next morning that "Wow, I'm days from home on a bike and it's great!". :clap
