We still had snow in the bush on the 16th last year. Those roads are going to be pretty soupy for big bikes this early in the season.

Our snowmobile trails were just groomed again yesterday, BTW.

I had a hell of a dent in my front OEM rim. No wonder it wouldn't hold its pressure for more than a couple hours. It is being repaired now and I'll be putting the TAs back on the OEMs for touring...

Yeah, that mount doesn't seem to be very solid but I have no issues with it. I had my eye on the aluminum TT model but was warned that it was too solid and may rip the plastic dash out in a spill.

I actually find the 1190 fairly easy to pick up compared to my old 950. Normally, I would not go exploring by myself with the 950 because it was such a pig to turn around and pick up if you dropped...

Average for my R is about 8.5l/100km (33mpg). On the highway it will decrease to around 6l/100km (47mpg)
