Your first route through the Rockies would be my suggestion. If you haven't been there you shouldn't miss it.

Figure out where you're going to work

Then move to that area. Dealing with traffic is just not worth it. You'll be able to find a "Micro-climate" neighborhood near work.
More drugs, theft, whores, etc on the east side. We're the place...

Bungees have gone to shit. I've got some 25 years old that still hold better than some that aren't 5 years old.

I just received a 150/70 X 17 M-07 standard & my friend got the same in a Dakar. They both have a center rib in them, now. It's narrower than the K60.
There's a picture of it around here, somewhere.

But "crimp" connectors have been discussed here before. There is nothing wrong with them when done right.

But then I don't use WD-40 on my chain, either.

After my Crapsman failed I bought this one. I broke it in as per instructions, & changed the oil. So far so good. But it only has about 20 hours on it.
It was cheaper at Home Depot than Amazon.

You better be sure

Suzuki used a direct injection to the bearings, which then spilled into the lower end to lube the piston & rod area. My 250 X6 was that way.
Just be sure of what you've got.
